I have finished reading "The Secret Lives of Bees". It had a really sad ending and left you wishing for more but I think it is the perfect ending in a way. My favorite passage in this book is the following:
This is what I know about myself. She was all I wanted. And I took her away.
I liked this phrase because it is so simple yet it has so much sorrow and pain at the same time.

That is such a beautiful line...just from that phrase and what you said I really want to read the book now. Even though I havn't read the book I know what you mean about endings like that it drives me crazy that even though it seems like such a great and perfect ending you still really want more. Would you lend me the book? :D

That is a pretty yet sad line. Yeah, I hate endings that have you wanting more but won't have a sequel or epilouge. I hate having to imagine the ending myself. I guess you really like the Secret Life of Bees. :)
